(Buenos Aires, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Digitain’s Business Development Manager, Araksi Sargsya, spoke exclusively with SoloAzar during the latest edition of SAGSE about the participation of the Company at the show, held last week in Buenos Aires. “Visitors demonstrated huge enthusiasm around our sportsbook and games, as they can see that we have a strong focus on the Latin American market”, she said.

Digitain brought to SAGSE its comprehensive portfolio of iGaming solutions

What are you presenting in this edition of SAGSE?

This year we came to SAGSE with our comprehensive portfolio of iGaming solutions, including Sportsbook, Casino, Live Casino, Video Bingo, Lottery, native apps for iOS and Android, and more games powered by Digitain with a special focus on the Latin American player. We paid particular attention not only to the online segment but also to the retail solution. We developed new interfaces and products that have no analogues in the region, instead providing solutions to the issues that can face any operator whose target market is LatAm. It took a lot of collaborative hard work and effort to create the definitive solution for SAGSE this year. However, the enthusiastic feedback from show delegates has already proved that it was well worth it.

What comments did you receive from visitors to the booth?

Visitors demonstrated huge enthusiasm around our sportsbook and games, as they can see that we have a strong focus on the Latin American market. Taking into consideration the conditions in the region, I can tell you with the utmost confidence that our games are the fastest and most engaging in the industry. We spent over a year in research with the specific aim of creating a unique offering for Latin America and all the feedback suggests we’re well on the way to achieving that goal. However, we still have a way to go and it’s a collaborative effort, constantly responding to industry intel and developing in stride with the latest tech. I would personally like to thank everyone who joined us at the stand, sharing their requirements and ideas. After all, these are the building blocks of our future innovation.

Why do you choose to be present at SAGSE? And how do you see the show this year?

I have to confess that SAGSE is one of my favorite iGaming events, set in Buenos Aires, one of the most beautiful cities in the world! It is also one of the biggest igatherings in Latin America, assembling all the leading providers and operators, regulators and mass media. We all share one combined aim: to raise the bar for our industry, and only collectively we can attain the best results. This year we have met new faces in the region, taking on other points of view and solutions to localised challenges.

What is the current situation of the company in South America in general and in Argentina in particular?

We have a strong vision and strategy for the Latin American market, based on our expertise and knowledge of the region, fueled by the requirement requests we receive. We’re also garnering deep experience, thanks to our partners and colleagues who have spent all their lives on this continent, thereby allowing us to quickly incorporate new insight on the iGaming industry. Why do I call it new? Because the majority of the providers coming from Europe have no experience in Latin American betting and gaming traditions. Rather than lazily trying to change those traditions, I believe we must do the harder yards and accommodate them. For they are unique and distinctive, so a tailoring a local strategy around them will set you apart. Furthermore, with Argentina on its way to new legislation, it’s important to be on hand to witness and accommodate all these global changes at close quarters. I really hope that the regulators will bring healthy competition to the market, which will provide players with a quality service and the best gaming experience.

What are your plans for the near future in this region?

First of all, we are going to broaden our knowledge base of the region – consequently, we intend to move to Latin America and open an office here to be closer to both existing and future partners. It will afford us a deeper understanding of these territories and will help us to adapt to the functional realities of Latin American iGaming. As we’ve already discussed, our main objective is avoiding the mistakes that will stem from framing a new industry around the “knowledge” that comes from other (often European) markets. Instead, Digitain will be putting the pressing needs of players and operators at the heart of our strategy, bringing to bear our many years of operator and provider-related experience to make their collaboration with us both synergistic and existing. At Digitain, we believe that only 100% trust and synergy between provider and operator will foster a mutually beneficial partnership.

How does the company accompany the evolution of the players?

We consider all the new requirements of the players from a positive perspective from which we can learn and grow. This is a sign that the market is progressing and developing, so, as providers, it’s important that we take a leading role in that process. Of course, the main goal for operators is to meet the needs of their players. Moreover, the requirements of the Latin American players are already quite clear: a friendly interface, the speed of the site, and easy access to a large number of events and bonuses. We fully support the players and work hard to assure their complete comfort while playing on the sites powered by Digitain. At the end of the day, our partners are only happy with us when their end user is satisfied.

How do you see the player of the future in this region and what do you think his interests and needs will be?

My biggest dream is to have more selective and demanding players. Such players are aware of their rights and naturally inform and drive the necessary trends in gaming development. This will take the industry to an even higher level. And we will always be delighted to grow in stride with them.Hot topics still converge around richer data, better product, faster payment solutions. But unlike others, Digitain never forgets to go the distance, delivering the great service and personal attention that players crave. Only the synergy of a great platform, strong products and responsive support team will ultimately give those players what they both need and deserve. So, I see Digitain’s exceptional CRM capacity proving a real difference-maker for our partners in 2020 and beyond.
